Prop firm rule changes

Prop firms change their rules quietly — a trailing drawdown becomes end-of-day, a consistency cap moves, a daily loss limit appears — and they don't email you. We catch it, date it, and cite the firm's own page. TradersGuild tracks these against your live account, so you hear it from us first.

    • MyFundedFutures

Rapid corrections from a re-sweep of MFFU's own per-size pages: the 100K max loss is $3,000 and the 150K is $4,500 (we previously showed $4,000 / $6,000 — both overstated your room; each size's Sim-Funded payout buffer of max loss + $100 corroborates the corrected figures). The 25K Rapid size (target $1,500 / max loss $1,000, 3 minis) is now tracked. The earlier eval-lock ambiguity is RESOLVED from the firm's own docs — MFFU's newest Rapid page states the lock in the Evaluation section (start + $100), matching the general EOD-drawdown article — so the eval lock is now encoded. Per-size contract caps (3/5/8/10 minis) added.

    • Apex Trader Funding

Evaluation drawdown-lock corrected per Apex's own help center: the eval threshold's behavior is PLATFORM-SPLIT — on Tradovate it trails your Peak Balance indefinitely and never locks; on Rithmic/WealthCharts it trails until the account reaches start + target + trailing threshold (e.g. $55,000 on the 50K), then fixes at start + target ($53,000) and no longer trails. TradersGuild now encodes the conservative Tradovate (never-locks) branch so room is never overstated. The PA (funded) lock is unchanged and re-verified: real-time trail locking at start+$100 once the peak (realized or unrealized) reaches start + trailing threshold + $100.

    • Bulenox

Drawdown locks corrected per Bulenox's own help pages: the Qualification (eval) trailing threshold has NO lock — it always moves with your highest account balance (the previous lock-at-start encode overstated room). The Master (funded) trail DOES lock, at $100 above the starting balance (previously encoded at the starting balance).

    • Tradeify

Drawdown locks corrected per Tradeify's own pages: EVALUATION accounts (Growth and Select) never lock — 'Drawdown only locks on Sim Funded accounts' (the previous Growth-eval lock overstated room). ALL Sim Funded accounts (Growth, Select, Lightning) lock at start+$100: the EOD trail follows your peak end-of-day balance until the failure floor reaches Starting Balance + $100, then stops — the missing Select and Lightning funded locks are now encoded (they previously understated room).

    • Earn2Trade

Drawdown lock added per Earn2Trade's own help center: the eval/LiveSim end-of-day trail locks at the STARTING balance — once your Maximum Drawdown reaches it, it no longer rises (previously encoded as never locking, which understated room). The Live funded account's continuous intraday trail also locks at start. The earlier operator flag on a suspected doc contradiction is resolved: the intraday-trail article is Live-account-only.

    • MyFundedFutures

Rapid evaluation drawdown-lock flagged as firm-ambiguous: MFFU's general evaluation article says the Max EOD trailing drawdown locks in at start+$100, but the Rapid-specific pages don't mention a lock. Following the honest-data gate rule, no lock is encoded for the Rapid eval (the safe side — shown room can be slightly less than reality, never more) and the ambiguity is surfaced on the plan until MFFU pins it.

    • Elite Trader Funding

1-Step lock trigger precision fix: ETF's trailing lock engages on REALIZED profits only (once you build max drawdown + $100 in realized profits), so TradersGuild's engine no longer lets a logged unrealized intraday peak engage the lock early — which could pin the line at start+$100 too soon and overstate room. The trailing line itself still follows the unrealized peak, exactly as ETF computes it.

    • Lucid Trading

Drafted (verified:false — pending operator source-tap; Lucid's own help center is Cloudflare-blocked to our fetch): Lucid Trading LucidPro 50K — end-of-day trailing max-loss limit ($2,000) updated at the 4:45 PM ET close, locking at start+$100 once the buffer is earned; $3,000 target; no consistency rule on the evaluation. The daily loss (a soft breach) and the funded payout consistency are held off (gated) because sources conflict and the primary page couldn't be reached.

    • Tradeify

Added Lightning Funded (25K/50K/100K/150K) — single-phase instant-funded (no evaluation): end-of-day trailing max drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $4,000 / $5,250) anchored to the end-of-day balance, a SOFT daily loss limit (none on 25K; $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,000) that pauses the day rather than failing you, max position 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 contracts (minis OR micros, not both), and a progressive consistency rule starting at 20% for the first payout. Profit target is published via a linked table Tradeify didn't quote inline, so it's held off (unverified, not 'none').

    • Topstep

Confirmed the Trading Combine max-position caps (50K = 5 / 100K = 10 / 150K = 15 contracts, micros 10:1; not available on the Live Funded Account) and un-held the Express (XFA) payout paths: STANDARD = 5 winning days of $150+ each, OR CONSISTENCY = trade ≥3 days with the largest winning day ≤ 40% of total net profit. Payout caps $5,000 (Standard) / $6,000 (Consistency), 90/10 split.

    • TakeProfit Trader

PRO (funded) rules primary-sourced: intraday trailing drawdown off your peak balance including unrealized gains, trailing up until it reaches your starting balance then locking; immediate liquidation if balance touches the minimum. Added the weekly trading requirement (1 day/week), the no-counter-positions and no-bots rules, and the prohibited-news windows (FOMC / NFP / CPI + crude inventories / bond auctions). The $25K PRO drawdown ($1,500) is confirmed; the larger-size drawdowns remain on the prior encode.

    • The5ers

Added Bootcamp (scaling ladder $25K→$50K→$75K→$100K funded: 6% target / 5% static max loss per phase; a 3% daily PAUSE — higher of start-of-day balance/equity, day-lockout not fail — on the funded stage only) and Hyper Growth ($10K: 6% static floor that re-anchors on each double; 3% daily pause all stages; “double on every target”, no numeric per-level target published).

    • Funded Trading Plus

Added Funded Trading Plus — 1-Step Express (10% target, 6% relative/trailing max drawdown off the closed-balance high, locks to start) and 2-Step Classic (7% targets, static 8% max drawdown, 35% phase consistency / 50% funded). The daily loss limit is stated three different ways across FTP's own docs, so it isn't encoded as a meter yet.

    • Goat Funded Trader

    • Earn2Trade

Added Earn2Trade — Trader Career Path 25K and Gauntlet Mini 50K: end-of-day (closed-only) trailing drawdown, a daily loss limit that counts open + closed P&L incl. commissions and hard-breaches on touch (reset 5PM CT), and a 30% best-day consistency rule in the evaluation only.

    • OneUp Trader

Added OneUp Trader — 5 fixed tiers (25K–250K): real-time intraday trailing drawdown off your highest balance that locks at the starting balance, no daily loss limit, 10 minimum trading days (Standard). Its consistency rule (three next-best days ≥ 80% of the largest day) is surfaced as a note rather than a simple day-cap.

    • BluSky

Added BluSky — 50K Premium (end-of-day trailing max loss, $2,000 below start / $48K min; 34% consistency) and 300K Static Growth (fixed $5,000 max loss, $2,500 daily cap, 21% consistency). Per-size profit targets, the daily-loss basis and the funded-phase rules are not yet firm-verified and are held off.
