How TradersGuild makes money

Last updated July 14, 2026

TradersGuild is built to be trusted with a decision that costs you real money — which prop firm to pay, and whether you're ready to pass. That only works if you know exactly how we earn, so here it is, plainly.

What we earn

  • Subscriptions. Pro is our core business — traders paying for the rule guarding, the coach, and the analytics. That is the revenue we're building around.
  • Firm affiliate links — not today. We currently earn nothing on the firm discount codes we list. If that changes, it will be disclosed here and on every deal, and the rules below still hold.
  • The partner program. Creators who share TradersGuild honestly earn a recurring commission on subscribers they refer. That is paid out of our own subscription revenue — it costs referred traders nothing extra and never changes their price.

What a commission never buys

This is the line we will not cross, and the reason the rest of the site can be trusted:

  • Grades are independent. A firm's letter grade is computed from its published rules on a fixed, recomputable rubric. A paying firm and a non-paying firm are graded by the identical formula. Paying us cannot raise a grade, and we will downgrade a paying firm the day its rules deserve it.
  • Listing is universal. We list every verified firm, paid or not, in neutral order. No firm buys its way onto — or off of — the site, the comparisons, or the wizard.
  • The trader always gets the best verifiable code. If our affiliate code is worse than a firm's public code, we publish the better public code and send you to it anyway. A commission will never cost you a worse deal.
  • Dead codes stay visible. When a code expires it moves to the graveyard, struck through and dated — we don't quietly swap in a paid one.

Firms we have a paid relationship with

No paid firm partnerships are active today. We earn nothing on the discount codes we list. If we ever add a paid firm relationship, it will appear in this list, dated, the day it goes live.
