Tradeify Minimum Trading Days
Rules verified 2026-07-15 · official source
Tradeify requires 1 trading day in the evaluation, and 5 qualifying days for a funded payout. A trading day = any day with at least one closed trade.
What counts as a trading day
A day counts when you close at least one trade inside the firm's trading-day boundary (Tradeify resets at 17:00 America/Chicago). Days don't need to be consecutive, and there's no minimum P&L per day — a tiny trade counts.
| Phase | Minimum days |
|---|---|
| Growth Evaluation | 1 |
| Funded Growth | 5 |
How traders actually breach it
The usual mistake is hitting the profit target early, stopping, and only then discovering the day count — or force-trading junk sessions just to log days and giving profit back. Know the count before you plan the pass.
TradersGuild tracks this rule live against your trade log and alerts you while there's still room — "you're $220 from the line" beats finding out from a breach email. Tracking is free for your first account.
Recent Tradeify rule changes
2026-07-15 — Drawdown locks corrected per Tradeify's own pages: EVALUATION accounts (Growth and Select) never lock — 'Drawdown only locks on Sim Funded accounts' (the previous Growth-eval lock overstated room). ALL Sim Funded accounts (Growth, Select, Lightning) lock at start+$100: the EOD trail follows your peak end-of-day balance until the failure floor reaches Starting Balance + $100, then stops — the missing Select and Lightning funded locks are now encoded (they previously understated room).
2026-07-13 — Added Lightning Funded (25K/50K/100K/150K) — single-phase instant-funded (no evaluation): end-of-day trailing max drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $4,000 / $5,250) anchored to the end-of-day balance, a SOFT daily loss limit (none on 25K; $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,000) that pauses the day rather than failing you, max position 1 / 4 / 8 / 12 contracts (minis OR micros, not both), and a progressive consistency rule starting at 20% for the first payout. Profit target is published via a linked table Tradeify didn't quote inline, so it's held off (unverified, not 'none').
